Yaima Carrazana moves freely between various media and formats, such as painting, video, performance, and installation. In this whole spectrum of media, his work is notable for the way in which undertakes a dialog well-founded, although often irreverent, with history and the contemporary art discourse. Creating works that explore the unstable boundaries between what is considered art and what is not, Carrazana weaves a delicate network of comments about the contexts-political, cultural, gender- that determine the way in which art is received and interpreted in the globalized world.
